Engine Mounts

Trial fitted the GBS engine mounts to the engine tonight, more to ensure the bolts screw in OK without binding or catching anywhere, but whilst the engine is on the wheeled dolly make it temporarily more stable when i move it around the garage.

Nice well engineered piece of kit from GBS which comes with all the fittings necessary to fit. Very straightforward each mount is handed left and right but it is pretty obvious which one goes on which side of the engine.

All bolted together nicely, finger tightened onto the engine block as they will have to come off to allow the engine to be be lifted into the engine bay on the chassis.

The mounts with some blocks of wood underneath now provide adequate support on the wheeled trolley so feel a little more happy moving the engine round the garage without further support.
